Andy Arnold's last match at the Blue Cross helm saw his side share the spoils with the Robins.
Wootton took the lead through Billy Sells after just 90 seconds.
Thereafter they were forced to defend as the visitors bossed the game.
Pat Diamond squared the contest ten minutes into the second half.
The Robins had chance after chance, hitting the woodwork 4 times but could not find the winner.
