BTFC 0 - 2 Rothwell Corinthians
BTFC went into the game v Rothwell with 6 first team players missing, the day went from bad to worse when Mike Bell went off injured in the Robins goal to be replaced by substitute Paul Hull.
Later on in the game Wardell went off injured with a pulled groin, this was due to his foot getting stuck in a divit on the poor surface at the winslow centre.
Ieuan Riley played the majority of the game with a pulled thigh, and to add to the injury list Kyle Stimpson and Mark Gale could be out for a number of weeks due to foot injuries.
All in All it was a day to forget, and everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong! I can not fault the players for trying, they worked hard for each other, but at times lacked the final ball and pace going forward, I believe if we had a full squad available on the day we would have taken the points, but you can not manage so many players missing and the problems we accrued on the pitch.
lets move on quickly and hope we can raise a team for next weeks game away to Bourne F.C
